CRISP for crystallographic image processing of
electron micrographs.
CRISP allows processing of electron microscope images both from inorganic
and from biological specimens. The functions avaliable include quasioptical filtering,
correction for the CTF, crystallographic symmetry averaging, and others. |
ELD for extraction of quantitative information from electron
diffraction patterns
ELD is designed to extract quantitative information from electron diffraction
patterns. Routines are provided for treatment of patterns from single crystals,
from powders and from fibres. A module for the chemical identification is also available. |
Trice for determining the unit
cell dimensions from two or more SAED electron diffraction patterns. The input for
Trice is positions of diffraction spots, as found by ELD, plus the relative orientations
of the SAED patterns. The reciprocal lattice can be rotated and animated. |
Triple for merging and scaling 3D electron diffraction
data, with full treatment of crystallographic symmetry.
Merge exposure series or different zone axes, using data from ELD. Merge symmetry-related
reflections for all 230 space groups. The output can be used for example in standard
programs for X-ray crystallography for solving structures by Direct Methods or for
structure refinement. |
TriMerge for the combining of data obtained from a tilt
series of electron micrographs into a full three-dimensional data set.
A full understanding of a structure can only be obtained from a three dimensional
reconstruction of the structure. Our 3-dimensional programs TriMerge and TriView allow the
3-dimensional reconstruction of a structure from a tilt series of electron micrograph
images, and the visualisation on the PC screen. |
